Roku was a gift for an alternative to cable; unfortunately the channel selection needs to be improved. Wider variety of free and pay channels especially old classic movies and live sports.

Streaming Made Easy

This was the best value purchase I made this holiday season. The Roku switches between my old tube tv and my new HDTV with ease. We finally don't have to pay ridiculous xbox gold membership fees and it's portable!

Bought a Roku 2 and kept my cable but never watched the cable so I got rid of my high cable bill and bought a Roku 1 for my other TV
Couldn't be more pleased with this product ! The only difference that I noticed between 1 and 2 is the one doesn't have earphone or hd cable !

this is my first roku player but i hve been using it at my kids' houses for a few years now. what took me so long? never have to be at the mercy of "programming" again. i think it's a terrific device and a great way to be entertained, especially where i live in the frozen north!
