Simple but well designed

the device is a simple easy to use streaming player, i only wish it had more free games to play and a web browser. also the ads should be synced up properly i hate seeing 4 of the same ad in a row and should play at the mid point like most tv stations.

I haven't watched regular cable since my roku, although I haven't used all of my apps on roku I love it and can't seem to turn it off, I love it!!!

A Whole New World

Our TV watching includes seeing what the rest of the world is up to, especially as News is concerned. With Roku we can see global news (and weather) that has no republican, no democratic, in fact no American, preconceptions. The Sky network and the other world news and weather channels allow us to do this. Thanks!

We got ours for Christmas. It's easy to set up, and offers a wide variety of shows. The only drawback is that some of the channels are a bit tedious to activate.

The basic unit works well with my DSL internet connection. Gave it 4 stars (rather than 5) because of the search feature being so cumbersome to use.
