A Great Deal that is EASY to use!!

I have 3 players. The first 2 worked great. The last one Roku 1 does not work well at all. Constantly has to load about every 5 minutes. Switched boxes and it did the same on a different TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

1st register and sign in to Roku site on computer before attaching product to TV. This will simplify registering your Roku when your sign in code is presented on your TV. I have had my Roku for about 1 month and it is great!

I don't have a provider and the only thing I miss is my sports but I have kinda found a way around that. The only problem which is not problem for me is it does not have YouTube. I have a blue that has it so its not a problem for me. Would not trade my Roku for any other brand. Just bought another one for the guess back bedroom and it picks up the WiFi with no problem. Strong signal.

Great access to educational programming

We use an outside antenna to pick up programming. The Roku 1 gives us access to educational programming (Internet channels such as JW Broadcasting, plus the History channel, Smithsonian...etc.).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku was a Christmas gift. Enjoying the free movies and tv shows. Like the option of purchasing movies to view without leaving my home! Lots of choice and new options every month.

I've had the Roku 1 about two months now and although I still use a (stone age) tube TV, I'm able to plug the RCA cables into the inputs, and use all my streaming Netflix and Amazon content. I haven't explored beyond these two sites.
Very happy with my purchase. The only thing I wish were better was the ability to navigate on-screen. It's a little difficult to manage your lists and find movies you're looking for. I solve this problem by having a tablet in my TV room to do searches and find what I'm looking for, and then dialing it in on the Roku. I like the SIMPLE remote so if navigation were better, I think the remote would need to have a BUNCH of buttons on it, and that I don't want either.
Really like the Roku 1 and highly recommended!
