This is my second ROKU. I have one in the living room, and now one in the bedroom. So glad that I purchased one for my bedroom - great device, reasonable price, and reliable - all in one little box!

I purchased it for Christmas with the misconception that I would be able to view additional channels however upon installation of the device I was required to use a credit card for any viewing. I could only view information if I already had purchased additional services. The advertisement was extremely misleading to the device actual functional ability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Gift

My son had been telling me about ROKU as a provider of entertainment services. ROKU 1 was provided as a gift. Easy to set up, very pleased with the HD image via wireless streaming. I was skeptical at first but operation and quality has been flawless. Keep up the good work.

Love all the options I with choosing different stations. Netflix is my most used. The only downfall to that is with the Roku it doesn't let me choose which person I want to watch under. It chooses the primary automatically and that's not the one I want, so I'm stuck with the primary persons Netflix choices of movies and interests instead of mine.

I got this as a Christmas gift and have been very happy with the selections offered. I find it very easy to navigate through, and the streaming is excellent! We will definitely be ditching our cable.
