I LOVE IT!!!!

I shut the cable tv off,about 8 months ago, I was tired of the outrageous cable bills.
So about 6 months ago, my daughter Amanda & her Family bought me this thing called Roku 1. at first I wasn't sure, I made the kids work it when they came over. about a week later I was home alone so i plug it in, the screen popped right up, so easy to use. so many movies, & tv shows, to choose from. I Loved it!!! so I bought one for the grand kids playroom.
All 3 of my children have them at their homes.
Now I recommend it to everyone.
& I will never go back to cable tv

It's a great value for the number of channels you can access for free. The variety of programs is great! We also have two Roku 3s and a streaming stick for our household because we love it!

My family has been using our Roku for 8 months. We only use 5 channels but we use them a lot. We've had no problems with the Roku.

I have been cable/satellite free since 5/30/14 thanks to this little device! And I don't miss it one bit. My tv is an older CRT model so I needed something to assist it in connecting with the internet so that I could stream movies and shows. The Roku 1 is very easy to use - there is even an app on my phone that I can use if I misplace the remote! Very happy with my purchase. When I upgrade my tv I will definitely upgrade the Roku as well.
