Fabulous little box!

I had been using my Wii to get Netflix for years…. it had started to have problems buffering movies so I ordered the Roku 1 . No more buffering problems! Easy Accessibility! It took five minutes to Set Up. Terrific!

Easy to set up

We bought our Roku about 2 months ago. The set up took about 10 minutes. Very simple. Now we can go right to our favorite shows and are finding some interesting new free channels, as well. The one feature that needs improvement is using the remote to type on the on-screen key board. It is really slow, but not a feature that is often needed. Excellent value when combined with Prime or other pay services, although I still need to go through the web to get free Hulu and free network shows. .

I have 3 of these and we love them so much, we have canceled our direct TV and only watch TV on these now!

A couples months ago i didnt have cable anymore so my dad bought these rokus for our rooms , and i can say its almost better than having cable for me.

Just What I Needed With My 11-Year Old HDTV

When I recently got higher speed internet I wanted to be able to take advantage of my Amazon Prime Video on my older TV that does not have an HDMI port. After finding the Roku1 that had HDMI plus the older composite video/audio outputs I was able to get connected. I bought a cheap HDMI to DVI cable (my old TV has DVI) for the video and routed the audio outputs to my receiver. Now I've got HD video and great audio. With tons of content to choose from I'm set!

I am so glad I decided in getting the roku. My family was debating on a smart tv or the roku. We gladly decided that the roku would be the best option as it is much cheaper then a smart tv and does all the same things.
We have had the roku for a little over a month. I can honestly say we use the roku on a daily basis.
Very easy to set up and use. My children can do it.
Thanks for making a great product and standing by it.
I will highly recommend a roku to anyone who wants to watch all their favorite shows at a fraction of the price of cable.
