Works like a Charm!

We bought the Roku 1 because it was cheaper but were not sure how it would perform. We use it for Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime. It works very well and was easy to install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ever since the Sling TV changed on Roku, constantly freezing say every half an hour Hate it.

Buffering put me to sleep!

I was ecstatic to "cut the cord" and begin streaming Amazon Prime, Netflix and whatever other jewels awaited. After Roku support chats helped me get the right channel and software updates I expected to enjoy the device thoroughly. Afterall, we had an "excellent" wifi signal coming from the other room. But alas, the buffering or failure to load time was excruciating and I gave up on the Roku 1 box. I may get around to firing it up again but it was exhausting trying to trouble shoot. I wish the support team would have suggested a wifi extender but I am not going to purchase one if my signal is already "excellent." Note: we have a non HD older model television and have to struggle with RCA cables.If they are bent they fail, so between buffering time and wiggling the RCA cables like an old UHF antennae I am, to date, not at all completely satisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I learned about this, while at a friends house for the weekend. When I got it for my Birthday, I knew from the first second that I would love it. It has made me love it even more now. Great job, Roku!
