I purchased this about a month ago and it is working great. The purchase was made for my brother and it worked so great I bought one for my grand daughter as well.

Great streaming abilities!

We have 2 Roku devices, one which is about 2 mos old and the other is approximately 2 years old. Both work well except the older Roku Remote seems to be now defective as it scrolls at uncontrolled speeds that make it almost impossible to use. To adapt to this we downloaded phone remote apps which work well enough . this said the good still far outweighs the bad.

I bought this a couple of months ago, and it offers so many great channels. I can watch tv shows, movies, or jam out to music with the pandora channel. I love my Roku!!!!

I have Netflix on another device, but on that one I can select the viewer. On this device there doesn't appear to be that option.

Best Way to Watch TV

I wanted a streaming box and asked the clerk for one that did not take a credit card. Well unfortunately Roku does and I have absolutely no plans on buying anything more. I pay for net and paid for the Roku with all the free stuff why would I wish to spend more money, I don't work either so that is kind of dumb. Should have only had to provide a card upon the desire to buy something and not to register. Think again Roku if you please. other than that I am happy with the performance of the box and hope it weathers the electric surge that can happen in my rural home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our Roku 1 was fantastic until we purchased a Roku Stick. Now the Roku 1 doesn't work properly even though nothing is being streamed on the Roku Stick.
