I had no Idea what Rolu was or how it worked. I got a new internet service and they gave me a Roku. Big Deal? I know nothing about it. I plugged it in and WOW movies on top of moves. IT's great I love it

love my roku... so many channels... easy to navigate... wish the remote was 'IR' ... always have to point ... would also love a web browser... if that could ever be possible.. so i could check email, etc. but overall, a wonderful gadget ...

I own both a Roku 1 (2 of them, actually) and a Roku Stick and my only complaint would be the differences in app "versions" on each. For instance, the Roku 1 version of Netflix will only play one episodic stream at a time (i.e. a TV show) and you have to tell it to play the next episode every time. The Roku Stick Netflix will play at least three episodes before the equally annoying, but understandable I suppose, "are you still watching"? nonsense. If the app versions were consistent across all the Roku devices, I'd be thrilled.

ROKU is the one of the best purchases I have ever made(excluding shoes). With the abundant movie, tv and network channels to choose from I am never without a favorite show/program to watch. I can now select from thousands of movies or choose from many, many golden oldie tv shows and or new ones. I am beyond pleased with my ROKU..!
