Scanning for new sites is always exciting as new ones appear on a regular basis. I also love the choice of Christian sites.

I've been streaming for four months and with the Roku am now much happier than using cable. I've had no issues using my Roku and simply love it all around.

I go to JW.org thruout the day n enjoy all the bible information found at that site. Any question dealing with religion WILL b answered using the Bible. Its FANTASTIC.

Excellent Product with People with Analog tv sets

Very easy to use, video quality is really great, just like watching Satellite or Cable except it is internet tv. Lots of free shows to watch and very easy hook up with people who still have anolog tv set that uses the RCA cables still........

Better picture than on my laptop computer

I bought the Roku 1 primarily to watch Netflix programs on our JVC analog television. However, the product could be improved with respect to its handling of captions. I saw that it had the feature to display captions only when I pressed the "Rewind and show the last few seconds again" button. So I selected that feature. But anything we watch STARTS OUT with captions showing, and they only disappear if I use the rewind button. (I don't normally want the captions on, as I would prefer to watch the actor's faces as they speak, and not get any advance warning about what they are saying.)
However, again, if I am watching something and I pause it, on un-pausing, the captions are BACK ON and I have to do the rewind thing to get them to disappear.
Roku should fix the programming on this feature.
Roku could enhance their product by placing a captions choice box on the navigation bar while watching a show, like Netflix does on my laptop screen.
