cannot live without this devise!

We have a ROKU for each of our TV's and cannot live without them. My Dad was visiting, found his favorite shows and now he wants one for each of his TV's! This is the ONLY alternative to cable that is unlimited in options and fits all out different tastes. I also really like that I can see what my kids have been watching by checking out "recently watched" items. It give me peace of mind.

Fills the gap for the guest room

We cut the cord last January and could not be happier. Roku is a big part of that happiness as it opened up a world of alternate programming. We bought the first one for the living room and liked it so much that we bought another one for our bedroom TV. Recently we were expecting company so we decided to get a Roku1 for the guest room. I put it on a power strip so there is no unneeded power consumption when the room is not in use. It has RCA connectors that worked fine for the older TV in that room. All in all, fit the bill perfectly.

I bought my 1st ROKU player over 5 years ago..... I liked it so much, that when the time came and I needed a new one for another TV... I chose the ROKU 1, then about a year after that one... I needed another ROKU player and again, I chose to buy another ROKU 1.... Don't need all the fuss and such with the others and besides... it gives you the SAME quality the others have... Just thankful that with advancing tech., they still offer the 1st device instead of making you buy the newest one!!! THANK you ROKU for that !!!

Initially, I really liked the Roku but now it is a pain. It seems every two or three day I have to reinstall it to use my cable provider. This is not something I enjoy doing because I have to put in a password and go through the initial process again. Not real happy with it.

I cut the cable cord! I had a credit with hhGregg. I could have gotten one smart TV and paid extra money, but I got a cheaper TV and 3 ROKUs and made all my TV sets smart for half the cost. Roku is easy to use and gives me so much more then cable ever did. If your HDMI is on the side, you can use the stick roku, if it is on the back and limited space, you will want the roku box and a short connecting cable so it will fit. I have ROKU on 5 TVs and love it!

I got Roku as a gift and I was unaware of all the possible apps. You can't do everything with it, but I certainly have it on more than commercial TV.

I've had the Roku for several months an I am not pleased. The unit locks up every time I use it, I have to unplug it and restart it.
