New to Roku

I had never heard of Roku until JW.org announced the creation of JWBroadcasting and its partnership with Roku. So I was able to find a refurbished Roku 1 (I have an older TV) and in addition to watching JWBroadcasting I am able to enjoy many other free channels. I had a bit of difficulty setting it up (I an tech impaired) but the great phone tech service was of great help and my Roku 1 is up and running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my roku about 2 months ago and absolutely LOVE it! I gave up cable TV for roku and now only pay for my internet, there is enough to watch on roku to keep me happy and I can now watch Netflix on my old box TV in my living room instead of on my small flat screen that's hooked up to my computer. Goodbye cable TV bills and hello ROKU!!

I really in joy my Roku!!!!!!!!! It has a lot of programs to select from, like NetfliX, Google play, Disney and so forth. Also. Kids can see movies made for them. Another reason is I am disabled and when I am have a bad day I get tired of daily program I can switch to my Roku. Suggest by one and try it out.

I had been researching and reading reviews on the Roku's for about 2 years. I finally decided to cut the cord on cable television and I'm don't regret one minute of it. I got the Streaming Stick for my smart tv and the Roku 1 for my daughter to have on her older tv. The whole family loves it and did I mention that I've saved so much money not having cable :). Subscribing to certain channels doesn't compare to the amount we spent a year on regular cable. In which all we did was spend our time flipping channels. I totally recommend it to everyone!

The roku works great! It made my old tv a smart tv. I really could not afford a new tv so I got this, so I could get rid of cable. Best thing I could have done. Will never go back to cable. It really works.
