Shoulda Dumped Cable Long Ago!

I love this little device. I would recommend the box over the stick though because the remote works way better & there wasn't enough room behind the tv for the stick. I had to get a 90^ HDMI adapter because the thing is like 3" long & ended up trading it anyway because of the remote control's pairing issues.

Need a Better Menu

Roku1 is a great way to gain access to streaming video. I have not had the time to use the Roku1 that much but the menu seems to be the weak point.

It does stream a little faster than the older Roku, but we do not like the remote as well as the old one. It is much too small, and the controls are hard to get used to.

Initially when I bought it, I just had in mind to have a way to watch Netflix on my tv, but since buying it, there's just plenty more to watch through it. I am a person that usually has the tv on, but there have been times when I want to watch nothing that's airing live, and that's where roku comes along. Whether it's Netflix, YouTube, the many, many movie apps, HBO GO, Showtime Now, and other network apps, it's just great to have. No regrets at all.
