Well worth the price!

Bought this a couple of months ago. Easy to setup and lots of great choices. I am using it to replace cable, which has grown scandalously expensive. You won't miss your cable or satellite company. Support answers quickly and explains things well. Love, love, love Roku support.

I like it for the most part, but Model 1 shows were it needed room for improvement.
Infrared remote must aim directly at the unit for adjustments. I like the RCA ports, which allow more versatility in configurations, i.e. recording.

Not as good as our old Roku

Bought this when our old Roku fried due to bad power conversion and it seems to have trouble finding our wireless signal. Does fine when I unplug it and restart, but later in the day or days later it does not find a strong enough signal to use. Guessing this is a faulty Roku.

Love my Roku

I purchased a Roku 3 about 5 years ago, and dumped my satellite service company, and have loved it from day one. It is very portable but due to changes in our living-room entertainment system that portability became difficult so we purchased a basic Roku 1 for the bedroom. The Roku 1 is perfect for a secondary TV, but I highly recommend the Roku 3 because it has several features that the Roku 1 does not have. Either way - Roku Rocks. I need to mention that I give the product it's self a 5. However, I am only giving it a 4 star because you have to subscribe to several different movie sites or settle for limited options if you only subscribe to a single site. There are lots of free channels, or free for limited time, but they or only OK in general. So in summary, it is still cheaper than subscribing to satellite or cable TV.

We absolutely love our Roku! Or should I say Rokus? After all, we have four of them. What a tremendous way to Cut the Cord and do away with cable bills. More channels and program that I actually watch for way less money. Everyone should have one! (Or more).

I love the roku. It takes a little time to hunt for all the fun stuff on it, but the setup is great and there are many free channels to choose from. I get my HULU plus now through it, and it is much faster and better displayed than my WII was. This product is worth the money.
