I did buy the ROKU 1 a week ago and I am very happy with it. The picture quality is excellent. Easy to setup. Excellent buy for the price. Remember to buy a HDMI cable to get the best picture quality this box can offer. The cable is not include it. I got it to watch Netflix, but you can do a lot more.

We grew very unhappy with satellite tv as we were paying big bucks for programs we really didn't watch or even cared to watch. What we pay for in a months time for satellite tv is payment for an entire year of Roku viewing. Roku has given us full control of what we want to watch including favorites from our childhood, the 60's thru 80's and presently adulthood in 2014. We can watch complete series of shows! Can't beat that. Everything is there you could ever want to see.

I love my new roku..I had a roku when they first came out and it doesn't compare to the new one..its amazing! So many channels. There's only one this not many channels have instant play like the old roku . Hulu has it and so far I cant find another channel that has it!

I had one of the original Rokus after they first came out and was getting frustrated due to constant pausing and loading of content. I also discovered that a good number of channels were not being updated for my older Roku, so I decided to get one of the latest models, the Roku 1. It works perfectly. Now I can finally play my music from Amazon Cloud Player. I can watch Netflix without constant pausing and reloading of the shows I want to see. My Roku does everything I need! And at lightning speeds.

My son loves this! So much W bought 3 more for all the kids! They all think it is great and like the ability to watch what they each want to in their rooms!
