Cheaper than cable

This was less than other internet-connected counsels, that's the reason we got it. It works great for its price. Has the apps I wanted and more. The only issue is it takes a little long to respond after clicking on something, it gets very annoying. But it dose work great otherwise.

Nice, but not impressed

We bought this about 2 months ago, we are disappointed. It's nice to have free TV but between the LONG commercials and lack of good shows I wouldn't recommend it. We were sorely disappointed, but for someone in a pinch it's not bad we are going to purchase Netflix and hopefully get some better shows.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Watch what you want

I recommend Roku to everyone I know because it gets people out of the box that regular TV has put us in. Roku connects me to other networks, like radio broadcasts, and I pay for what I want to pay for instead of paying a monthly bill for hundreds of channels I don't even watch.

Had about a month.it overheats and freezes,kicks off wifi,reloads over and over in begining to watch a show,kicks off goes to home page in middle of movie or show,very poor quality product be better watching a dvd than this hassel.not very happy customer.

I've been running this on our living room tv for several weeks I am very impressed that a tiny box like this can do so much. I had a sony media player it was ok, the content is king and this has more, I got an Espn log on, so I am literally all set for cord cutting. I got the Roku 1 because this might be moved to the bedroom.
