I am very pleased with my Roku 1. I really appreciate that Roku did not stop making the Roku 1 because everyone does not own a flat screen TV. I also enjoy the channels as well. Thank you for making a nice product.

Excellent way to see my favorite movies

My girlfriend told me about Roku. She purchased hers about six months ago and she loves it. When I got home the next day I ordered mine and I have not been disappointed. I have Netflix and it makes all the difference watching movies on my 60 inch TV instead of my computer. I strongly recommend everyone to get a ROKU.

simple to use

This is simple to use, but downside is you can't see all movies available, you can't search by genre, nor does it allow for profiles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use and better option than cable service

Bought to replace paying for high priced cable service. So far I have no regrets at all. I can watch just about anything on my Roku that I could through cable. the Roku was so easy and seamless to set up that I was worried that I screwed something up. There is even an app to use your smart phone as a remote. I especially like this feature when I feel like playing a trick on my husband and I change the channels from the other room. My husband especially likes being able to watch YouTube videos on our TV... to each their own. But seriously, Ive not regretted switching to my Roku.

Love the Roku!

I cancelled cable and put antennas on my TVs to get local stations. Adding the Roku to my TVs has allowed me to get some of the programing I got on cable at no charge. I pay a small fee to Netflex and get great entertainment. Don't miss cable.
