Great product.

I recently purchased my third Roku for my grandchildren to use in the bedroom they use when they visit. I purchased my first one about a year ago for the family room and I fell in love with what it can do. The number of and variety of channel options is amazing. This is one of the best investments I have ever made.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this unit after seeing it at a friends office. At first, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a web site that I could look at all the available Roku channels, but once I got the hang of it, I have enjoyed it very much. morning

Wan't easy to hook up, have to reset it alot!

Well it wasn't easy to hook up to our older flat screen tv that isn't SMART! Had to buy HDMI cable to component adapter before it worked. Had to get into the "secret screen" to configure it to get it to connect to our wireless- even though it saw it it wouldn't connect. A lot of Google searching to find all of this out! When we use it it, quite often we have to reset the thing to get the wireless connected again even though our other devices have no problem connecting. Much prefer our Samsung Blue-Ray player over this device as far as the display and operation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hoped for more

The Roku works well and streams well, but too much is paid for. Most of the "free tv" just isn't what I'm looking for. It doesn't have enough to get me unhooked from cable. I was considering returning it for a refund, but decided to hook it on a tv with no cable connection in the guest room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to set up, though a bit cumbersome due to paucity of buttons on remote. I'm very happy so far. I use Netflix primarily, which is hard to browse, but easy to watch once shows are placed in watch list.

I had my Roku for a short period but unless I am missing something I am not seeing a lot of "free" good viewing available. Unless you use the paid channels you get mostly trailers, commentaries and junk. I am still searching and hope to find a few good channels.

Strong Consistent Signal

Earlier this year my wife and I ended an 11 year relationship with a satellite TV provider and purchased a Roku box. We purchased Netflix and Hulu plus and are extremely happy with the 1080p HD signal coming from the Roku, and the content found on the above channels. We did have our WiFi moved next to the Roku and would suggest that for best reception. Bottom line, our TV bill went from $120 per month to $16.98 We're very happy.
