I got one a few months ago but didn't use it right away. When I did, I noticed it kept buffering, a lot. It was doing it so much I couldn't watch anything and shut it off. I have a ps3 in the living room that I watch Netflix and hulu on so I know its not the internet. My friend has one and his works just fine, so I'm convinced mine is somehow defective. A couple of times it stopped buffering and I was able to watch a show and it worked, but when I tried it again later, same thing, buffers for a minute but only streams 30 seconds. Can't watch a show under those conditions. I'd return it and get another one but I don't have the receipt.

It was a gift from some friends. We didn't have cable, only antenna TV. After two days we were addicted!

Very pleased with my Roku. Am able to watch netflix now on my tv. Cable prices are just too expensive!

This is my second Roku. I bought one when they first came out and it is still being used today. I will be buying two more in the near future. Could not be happier with the Roku.

this is the 3rd roku I am using in my house, have done away with the ridiculous cable, and for it being the small roku it works wonderfully and we get a lot of choices aside from just netflix
