Great step to streaming

Bought the Roku 1 because it had the 3 prongs to stream to my older TV. But it also has the HDMI port so I can move it to newer TV's. Love the ease. And many appls available. Well worth the money to move to a new generation of viewing content.

I'm a disabled veteran living on a very limited income. My son bought me a roku. I love it! The educational shows are great.

Stopped working after 6 months...

I was very excited to use my Roku. I heard great reviews and heard it had more than Apple TV. At first, it worked great. I was more than satisfied. However, after only 6 months of use, my Roku completely stopped working. It wouldn't even connect to my Wi-fi. Knowing I couldn't take it back to the store, it has been in the box ever since...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was using an LG 3D disc player with wifi. The Roku 1 is 10 times better and also connects to my NAD amplifier, which doesn't have an HDMI input.
I would recommend this to a friend!
