I have had the Roku 1 for around 9 months now, and last week lightning ran in on it and fried it. I lost my TV,PS3 and Internet Router as well but i was most upset about the Roku. This products ease of use has been a godsend trying to teach my 6 year old as well as my 76 yr old father how to take advantage of streaming media. Now with the addition of Sling TV this product provides the total package. No more will a cable company get my hard earned dollars. I hope someone at Roku can assist in repair/replacement, but i will be purchasing another one but moving up to the Roku 2 so i can utilize the headphone function in the remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had my Roku for about a month now and enjoy it very much. I am looking to buy another unit for my bedroom tv .

Easy to use

I bought this a couple of months ago on the recommendation from my niece. She was right, I have not watched "regular" TV since. My Roku 1 was easy to set up and is very simple to use. I have an older TV set and I'm waiting for it to die. When it does, I'm moving my Roku upstairs to the kids HD TV.
