I got myself a roku 1 cause I got tired of watching movies on a small screen. I love this device and it was inexpensive. I have recommended it to my friends who have Netflix and they are happy with it. :)

I have the streaming stick and the the kids love it . I recommend it too all you parents . So many things to watch and stream on roku.

the only thing is that it doesn't have the discovery channel show that we also love to watch. other than that is great. really enjoying watching old show from my child hood.

I do not have cable channels, we were watching Youtube and Netflix on our small computer screen. My kids were ecstatic when my oldest daughter and I set up the Roku. Not only can we watch shows and movies on our TV, but having Roku has so many other features to offer. Being connected to your wireless internet on the big screen is where it is at. GO ROKU

Poor reception

The reception is very poor for some reason. I hooked up my Roku 3 in the spot and it performed perfectly. Will have to replace it with a Roku 3 eventually.
