Don't Waste Your Money

This thing sucks. Despite high speed internet, it often pauses to reload so that you cannot even enjoy a movie. Is it better than nothing? Yes, barely. The remote needs to be redesigned to be more user-friendly and most things offered are paid services, so you really aren't saving money over cable to begin with if you subscribe to the things you want. Overall, it sucks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use this device with a projection system that has no TV tuner at my vaction home.
Roku provides great internet content without having to pay for cable TV. I especially like the fact that I can stream my Network Area Storage stored movies using PLEX to play my films created in MLK type files. I stream these movies to my projector from 200 miles away using PLEX and Roku.
I gave it 4 stars because the RCA audio out jack signals are not that compatible with my receiver. The sound is just ok.

A little black box!

This little black box has taken over our TV viewing! Instead of watching the 24 hour news, which doesn't make you feel better, we have been addicted to watching episodes of Blue Bloods! Great show, good characters and stories that don't make you have nightmares. Thank you Roku!!
