Not that great.

I bought my Roku 1 about a month or so ago. I had to buy this one because I had the original one for a few yrs. I am not impressed. I have had so many issues with it. When I use my main channels, (Youtube, Netflix, Pandora) it kicks me out. I also have connection issues with it as well. I never had any with my old one, (It is in the same spot.) I am really considering switching to another streaming device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had Roku 1 for a couple of months. It is a fantastic value and allowed us to get rid of cable TV service and use a digital antenna for local programing. The only weakness for us is limited selection for Fox News programing.

In our house we have 3 roku. We have don't have cable anymore and still get to watch what we like. Best thing ever.
