I have an older tv with no HDMI ports, so after multiple failed attempts to use an component converter, and not being able to find any site that could help me find what I need, I stumbled on the a Roku 1. It works with both component and HDMI TVs. Love the channel selection and am thinking of buying a second one as I keep moving this one around the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about a month ago and I love it.The only thing I don't like about it is that it don't show a lot of shows on particular networks.

It was working fine for a while but now it will not connect to the internet. It shows the connection and good signal strength, but it just won't connect. It was great when it worked.
