Moves very slow when trying to watch Hulu

I'm not impressed all I want to do is watch resurrection but I have to press play 5 or six times for it to actually play some days it won't play at all. Very annoying

Horrible

I am so unhappy with this ROKU. None of the programs will load or play. I called my cable company, got better internet service and had my son-n-law, who is a systems engineer checked all my connections and my connections are correct. I will return to the store for a refund.

Waste of money

This thing had problems right out of the box. Can't maintain a connection more than an hour. Frequently dumps you out of the app or just quits altogether. Go back to cable!

I bought it and it started working good but after that the control remote started ti act weird. I was pressing the button to go down and it went down like for times same thing to up.... just don't like it :/

I bought Roku 1 to eliminate the cost of cable. Most items on Roku you still need to pay for. Not sure which is better.

Great for older TVs - but not for Netflix

I have an older HDTV with a DVI input, so I can connect with an HDMI to DVI cable but need another hookup for sound. I knew the Roku 1 did not have the updated Netflix app which allows you to switch user profiles. This was a deal breaker for me because I have two kids. So I was waiting patiently for the Fire TV since it had the optical audio output and the updated Netflix app. Then the 2015 model was announced, and they removed the optical audio output. So I bought the Roku 1 so I could get Sling hooked up on my older TV, but the Netflix app sucks. I'm hoping when the new Fire TV ships I'll be able to find last year's Fire TV. If and when I do I'll be returning the Roku 1.

Great product!

I bought my Roku about a month ago at the suggestion of a friend. I had a few issues connecting to a shared internet service (I live in an apartment that provides free internet service). The service tech was very thorough and most helpful in solving my issues. My only complaint is that I didn't buy a Roku sooner!
I would recommend this to a friend!
