slow and freezes

I like what it does and enjoy the use of sling tv. It is very slow to respond to commands from the remote, moves between channels very slow, takes a long time to load a channel, and freezes daily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Netflix

Bought a while back . Wanted to use it for Netflix ,but it won't connect to Netflix. Tried all fixes listed on internet nothing works. Most other apps work some stop in middle of movie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this a few months ago....was not sure about the monthly payment..and never committed but the bill came...I didn't know what it was going to be....

This is my second Roku. I have one in my spare bedroom where my computer is so I can watch things while I work. Now I have one in the livingroom so when I want to relax in front of the TV and there is nothing of interest on I can turn to ROKU and there are so many free movies and series I never was able to see because I only had basic cable or maybe a great independent film. There is nothing like it except maybe Sling TV.

I got a roku, had no idea what all it was capable of and I feel in love with it. As long as Wifi is good, TV is free!!! Anything I want to watch, plus casting movies from my tablet. I couldn't have made a better choice!!

My future goal is to have one of these players on all of my tv's. Is is easy to use and extremely cost effective. I would advise anyone, especially those on fixed incomes, to consider using a Roku box. We love it!!
