Easy access

Roku gives the easiest access to Netflix, Amazon and others. I love it. It has the easiest pause and return button and subtitle button. I have a hearing problem and like to understand the words.

Before buying a streaming device l reviewed Chrome Cast, amazon stick and the Roku devices. ( for days) After purchasing the Roku 3 and being extremely satisfied, l purchased another one for another tv. Before buying, l read a gazillion reviews, talked to family and friends ( who went for the cheaper ChromeCast) weighed it all out and bought the Roku 3 for a flat screen, and the Roku 1 for an older box tv set. The voice search and earplug feature for the Roku one is so nice, but you can easily operate it from you tablet too so l don't mind that the Roku1 is voiceless. Just a mention, don't forget your hdmi cable, it is not included. The necessary video cable IS included with the Roku1.
l am moderately tech savvy and was up and running in 15 minutes from opening the box.

Easy to Use

The Roku 1 was easy to setup. Operation is basic, and easy. I bought it to connect to NETFLIX. Browsing or searching with the Roku 1 remote is awkward, so I use my laptop to browse NETFLIX and add programs to My List, which are then available from the Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!
