I bought one i loved it, so simple to set up n simple to use, so i went n bought another one to keep in our dn stairs living rm, didn't want to unplug original one n move to another location even though it can b done. Best investment ever. Love it!

We bought this a little over a month ago. We have had issues with it connecting to Internet. It's not the internet because the phones other roku and laptops hook up just fine. When it actually connects it works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love My Roku

I LOVE my Roku 1. I haven't caught up completely with technology and looked at other streaming devices. Unfortunately, I have a dinosaur TV and love that the Roku can be used with a/v cables. Everything else is strictly HDMI. It's easy to use, never any issues and I can quickly unplug it and take it to another room. Cable is becoming more obsolete in my home since getting my Roku and will probably get rid of cable altogether soon!

Not worth it- get a different Roku

The TV I bought the Roku 1 for only has a port for composite cables. The Roku 1 features are awful. It is a totally different experience than the streaming stick and if I'd realized how terrible the features are I probably would have just bought a newer TV so I didn't have a lousy Roku 1.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
