Awesome little player!

This is a great product! The wireless reception is flawless! My wife loves Doc Martin, and now she can see every episode thru Netflix on Roku. I love old westerns and Roku fits the bill for me! I recommend this product to anyone!

My daughter told me about Roku. I had never heard of it, and have never really been a big television viewer. I've had a change of attitude about tv since my purchase. My daughter and I both love the shows that are available and argue over who gets to watch what.

Excellent for Recording

The Roku 1 is, to me, the best choice for making analog recordings of programs on SlingTV and other services. All VCR's and most DVD Recorders are analog and Roku 1 is able to connect to them. The only con is that it is much, much slower than its big brother, the Roku 3 which I use for digital content.

I like the roku. The content is dated though and tge remote is terrible. It works sometimes and them it won't. I constantly have to move it around to get it to work.

Appreciate this alternative to cable

We bought our Roku to have access to Acorn on our tv, and haven't done other "exploring". I find the remote a little tedious, but realize a bigger remote with lots of feature buttons would be unwieldy. So all is good.
