I bought the roku 1 instead of a 2 or 3 because it has RCA and HDMI outputs my daughters tv doesnt have HDMI so until we can afford a newer LCD tv for her this roku works great for her.

I have had my Roku for a little over a month and I love it! Gread way to stream online for quality entertainment thru Netflix and Hulu plus! :)

I got my Roku for one specific channel because I was tired of watching it on my ipad. I am now using to watch other channels as well. I love it and am so glad I spent the money to get it.

I had it for a month. My family loves it as all can watch what they like with minimal interruption of commercials. Also you can control what is being watched.

Kindle Fire bluetooth outperforms Roku

Bought new Roku to receive local telecom offering of area stations in lieu of cable. I had older Roku, but replaced it with Kindle Fire TV. The Kindle IMO outperforms Roku in style, function, layout, voice search and ease of use with Bluetooth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
