It's pretty good since i don't have cable but what they don't tell you is that most channels won't let you watch their shows unless you have a cable subscription to connect to. Also, a lot of channels are foreign and stuff you would never watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My older Roku 1 was having to restart itself quite often so I bought a new one. The old one was about 8 years old. The new one looks like a sports car compared to my old Model T!! It is about half the size so it can now sit right under the TV with no problem. One complaint...the remote has to be pointed just right to work, cannot bounce the signal off the wall behind me....it gets tiresome.

My Roku does everything I expected it to do. I watch movies all the time on it. I have the Roku No. 1. I don't have all the new gizmos that technology has to offer, my TV has an antenna and I connected it with a HDML cord. I really love it. Thanks, Roku!!!!!!!!

We canceled cable and bought for the bedroom tv. The tv is an older model (ie no digital) and this model Roku is perfect for it. I like the remote for this Roku more than the other Roku we have. This remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, and Rdio.

i have only had roku for my home for 4 months now. in that time i have cancelled my cable....saved money on renting for the kids. i have yet to watch the same thing twice. netflix was my first channel, now i have hulu, vudo, and crackle....and many more free and awesome channels. its almost like turning on a surprise everytime. its also very user friendly for young and older. cheap/easy/and great service!!! tech support very helpfull. i wouldnt ever go back to basic cable again.
