For the price it does what it needs to do but somewhat hard to navigate. The Netflix app doesn't separate seasons and does not autoplay which is annoying when you are trying to entertain a small child and do chores you have to keep going back and press play. Mainly bought it for you for Pandora and Netflix so was worth it. However by the time you pay for all the non free apps you may as well get cable. But for me it was the right fit.

I purchased this about a month ago. The performance is awesome. Love the feature of being able to use the app on my phone to operate it.

I love my Roku! We love them so much that we've bought one almost for every room in the house. If you're tired of getting ripped off from your cable company... do what we did, fire your cable company! It will save you lots of money and you wont miss it.
We bought a digital antenna to get free local channels, purchased 20.0 internet speed, got rid of home phone and fired our cable company, bought roku and netflix and never looked back 4 yrs ago! We pay $55 bucks a month! 1/3rd what we use to pay!!! You can add free channels or purchase custom channels like netflix, hulu or sling tv still way cheaper than cable.
Our guest love to use them when they come to visit and they are very interested in getting one for themselves!
My only complaints is the wireless stick is a poorly designed. The stick is too wide for the hdmi connection and looses connection. We had to return it. Also the remote control on the newer versions of this model and the stick doesn't seem to be very responsive when operating the remote. as previous models even with fresh batteries which is very frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's compatible with older model televisions

I'm very satisfied with this particular model because I have an older television in my kitchen, and this works out just fine. I also have a Roku 3, with earphones. And that alone is a BIG plus when my husband's asleep!
