Simple features not included

I have a Roku3 and a Roku1. I bought the 1 for a child's room. I understand that the 1 has less features than the 2 and 3, but simple features like allowing the use of profiles on Apps like Netflix instead of the old simple main login only makes it hard to setup for use for a young child.
I also own a Netgear NeoTV-200. The NeoTV has the same features as the 2 and some of the 3 with the same price point or less as the 1. The only thing the NeoTV does not offer that the 2 does is a SlingTV app. NeoTV has SlingBox player which is not same. The Roku 1 is essentially the same as an older Smart TV or Older Smart Appliance like a Blu-ray player.
The 1 has very basic features, it's only saving grace is that it does have a SlingTV app which is why I give it 2 stars instead of 1.

I already had the Roku XD but I needed another one for the other tv. This one's just as good as the XD. I've always been happy with Roku.

We love it. We almost never watch cable. My son gets all his favorite cartoons that he can no longer get on cable. I get to watch Netflix series that are well done and some of my older favorites like MacGyver and BBC's Robin Hood.

Just the fundamental Wifi basic TV is all I wanted and that is what the Roku 1 provides!

The Roku is the best purchase I have ever make

I get so tired of the samo samo on TV so my daughter said I should get Netflex and we got it at walmart . The Roku was the most reasonably priced of all other products. Now the TV calls me every nite as I can get a new show to watch. Love it.
