This is my second ROKU! I bought my other one about 5 or 6 years ago. That should tell you something... Right? This is a wonderful source of entertainment for us. We're a little past middle age and don't go out to movies - only plays and some concerts. This is just great for us. Our grandkids love it, too!

I bought this so I could get content that is no longer supported by my Sony Blu-Ray

Once I got the hang of it, I watch more TV than I did before. You can watch what you want, when you want. and no commercials. Yippee. Saves time. My great granddaughter set it up for me as I am not tech savvy.

I wished I would have heard about this way before now. I bought mine about 1.5 months ago. Best thing I bought in a long time.

I live in a very rural area with little reception and few providers who are very expensive. I love my Roku1 and really love that after the initial purchase IT HAS FREE massive programming. I recently bought one for my mother who was fighting the increasing monthly cost of satellite service. She is thrilled with her Roku1 and has told many of her retired friends about it..
