Easy to use and fast.

I'm glad I upgraded to this newer Roku. Faster than my old one and easier to use. Also, now I can see subtitles for when I don't want to put the volume too loud and wake up everybody at home.

We are very pleased with the Roku. We have been solely streaming at our house and haven't paid a satellite or cable bill in 4 years! I highly recommend it to everyone.

My son has a Roku and had been raving about it, saying he would never go back to satellite TV. While I was visiting him, he showed me all the features and convinced me to buy it. I'm so glad I did! I can watch shows that are no longer on satellite like "Longmire"!

I got Roku so that I could have Acorn the BBC station. I love it! Now I find many others sites that I love also. It is a great product.

Freezes up

I bought this so I could watch ESPN and some other sports channels. The Sling TV app does not work well with Roku. Roku freezes and I have to restart very often. Other than that Roku works fine
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have several Roku streaming sticks (one for each TV.
They all work great with the HDMI TV input. I also bought the
Roku 1 to record Movies from Amazon, Netflix and Utube using
audio/video inputs of DVD writer and VCR. Some movies report
copy protected on DVD writer but seem to record on VCR. I am
happy to recommend both the Roku streaming stick or Roku 1.
