My daughter gave the Roku to me for my birthday because I couldn't pickup tv stations very well.I LOVE it free t.v. wonderful shows and so easy to use. I would not go back to cable for anything. I recommend this great product to everyone!

I bought this for streaming tv stations, didn't realize that I still needed cable service for of the channels to link on, so wasted my time. Doesn't stream very well, constantly stops, the Roku 2 is better at that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features but could be more user friendly

I bought this a little less than a month ago, and I found that that while it is great, there are a few more things that could be done to make it a little more intuitive. Not all of the channels accept the input from the keyboard on the Roku Android App (YouTube for Example).
I would recommend this to a friend!
