purchased about a month+ ago - extremely happy - beats watching mindless entertainment over and over.....we have slow internet maybe we should've purchased the roku 2 but still are happy

Have had no problems with it except getting it programed the 1st time. I think it had some steps to programming it that weren't quite necessary.

I have had an original Roku from the beginning for Netflix capabilities. I recently purchased the Roku 1 in order to be able to stream live TV so I could cut the cord on using a dish service. I am very happy with my Roku player because it works great and is saving me a fortune every month! I can do everything that I was doing with DirecTV . I have On Demand movies and the ability to watch all of my favorite programs as well. I couldn't be more happy.

Fantastic Features

I had a DVD player with just two streaming services and no way to add. I am so pleased that I replaced it with this Roku..it's all I ever need to use.

What a great basic device

I have enjoyed my purchase from day one. Easily set up on Internet, loaded my Hulu, Netflix and WWE networks n bam I was off. A down fall to this model is it doesn't have on off button so it can update at will but it seems to shut itself off for the most part

I have owned it for over a month, and it works well. It is easy to use. The only "bad" thing is that it doesn't allow you to utilize separate memberships with Netflix (as an example).
I would recommend this to a friend!
