We enjoy it. Most of the movies on it we have or won't watch so we don't use it as much as we thought. One station we listen to every day but otherwise, not so much.

It locks up too much

I bought it a month ago. It gets very hot and i have to unplug it every couple of days. I understand that it will need that on occasion, but I don't use it everyday and when I do, it need to be turned off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the roku almost two months ago, Its amazing the only issue I have is that it doesn't update much so its hard to find new episodes.

The Roku 1 is ok. It gets the job done. What I don't like about it is that you can't choose which profile to sign into on Netflix. In my opinion the 3 is better.

Works with older TV

I bought this about a month ago so with the intentions of turning off cable. Prior to discontinuing cable, I tested the Roku 1 to make sure it would work for us. My grand daughter just loves it. We are very pleased with the product.
