We wanted to stream movies on an older TV (not HDTV) in our bedroom. We already had a Roku 3 in the family room, so when an Internet search led me to the Roku 1, I felt confident it would work, and it does.

Easy to maneuver

I find that this device was easy to set up and is easy to handle. However, it will not pull up Netflix, just keeps saying retrieving. I'm looking into that now, so no answer yet.
