Definitely worth buying

We actually received our Roku 1 as a gift from our daughter. Cable prices keep rising and having to try to get better monthly rates is getting harder. We haven't cut the cord yet to cable, but may be very soon. My wife and I really like having so many options to watch what we want. There are plenty of options for free movies, TV , series, etc. Unfortunately, there are way more that require a monthly subscription and since we're trying to save money, that is not what we wish to do. We watch Hallmark channel a lot and unfortunately again, this is still not available for free on the Roku. TWC app is good, but not being able to just punch in a channel is inconvenient. It is time consuming scrolling through their lineup to find the channels before selecting what you want. Otherwise, the Roku 1 is worth buying and very affordable. Sure beats buying a SMART TV or an antenna!

I bought this on a friends advice all the activation you have to do are terrible I don't have cable I have a computer hooked up to my tv
