Roku 1 on old TV

I have a very old TV in my 2nd house. I got a Roku 1 because it did not have a HDMI port. We use it for NetFlix on weekends. Unfortunately it does not support the multi-user function for NetFlix. If I had to do it over again, I probably would have just gotten a new Roku TV

Great for older televisions

I have purchased 2 Roku 1 players for our older televisions and 1 streaming stick for our newer television. This product is worth the price, we have had no issues whatsoever watching our shows. Occasionally, while watching a live event like sports, it will buffer (which may be the Roku or may be our internet). Overall very happy and would purchase it again. Now we can watch Netflix and Hulu on the television and cancelled ATT Uverse, so we have already saved the cost of the Roku in one month.

Love the Roku!

I bought this a month ago, and we use it everyday. Our tv has a broken HDMI port so the Roku with the plug in works well with not having to use that. We would not be able to watch internet shows on our tv without the Roku!!

we've had our rook for over a year now with no problems at all. what I like the most about the rook one is the fact that it has the cables and ability to hook to older model TV's. wished they all had this advantage. maybe soon they will, but love the product.

My husband and I purchased a Roku box for each of our TVs after cancelling our cable. The cost for cable each month was crazy. Love being able to watch what we want, when we want. The only problem is that now sometimes I binge watch certain shows... instead of doing chores...lol. Roku is easy to install. We highly recommend it!!
