Love Roku

We bought the roku 1 a year ago and we love it and so do our kids. I think the channels need updated more but other than that it has been wounderfull and well worth the purchase. Looking forward to trying a new version of this product after christmas some time if we can come up with the extra money.

The Roku 1 and Roku 2 are both awesome, the roku 3 and stick I'm not interested in I would much rather have the convenience of AV jacks

Too many steps to get channels!

My friend told me that this box enabled me to get up to 2000 free channels, so I bought one. The majority of channels were not free or maybe an introductory price offer. If I found a free channel, I had to go to the link on the internet to enable the channel to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Just Fine

The Roku #1 is perfect for older TVs that do not have an HDMI port. It is a shame that more stores do not sell the #1 because I believe there are many people with older TVs - mine is a 42" plasma - who would love to experience Roku. No complaints.
