I bought this for a older tv which had the red white and yellow hookups. And it was all I wanted does everything I need to do. Real easy to setup took 5 minutes.

I've had my Roku 1 for a year now, its great with a great set of channels but Netflix should be able to have it's multi-user views and it doesn't. Much cheaper made and backed players can use that feature so it is sad that the Roku 1 can't

The roku is the option if you're renting a furnished place with an old tv and good wifi but controls are sloppy, searching only searches some paid options...

I like this player composite audio output, l plug it into my stereo and now listen to the internet radio stations in hifi. love it.

I bought Roku stick and love it. I bought the Roku 1 and after purchase I am not impressed Netflix is old version.
