Great features, channels, amazing!

I love my Roku player. I've had it for almost two years and it is the perfect tv alternative and the easiest way to stream live television, sports, concerts, movies, as well as seasons past of a series.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this a month ago and it's worked great. With the purchase of Hulu my kids can still watch all their favorite shows and it is tremendously cheaper than a cable company, Dish, or Direct Tv. It works with our Peel Smart Remotes off our cell phones, so if your kid looses the remote that comes with it, you still have access to a remote with your smart phone. The best part is there are no contracts. :-)

Hot Roku 1

My Roku 1 has been totally awesome, however, it has an issue of overheating. The Roku 1 unit temperature increases as would the temperature of any electronic device once it powered up and left on for several hours. The Roku 1 unit does go into a hibernate mode and the screen saver activates after the Roku 1 unit is not in use. However, I did not see any way of manually putting the Roku 1 unit into a sleep/hibernate mode from the remote control unit. The easy fix for me was to disconnect the power from the unit. This was the only manual fix that I could come up with, but other wise than that I absolutely love this unit. The Roku 1 get's the job done

A friend of mine had it..and kept telling me about it. How good it was...So I Finally said..Ok, I'll get one! And I love it! So Small, and Compact..but it gives me so many channels, plus HULU and Netflix, and Google play.... I LOVE IT!!

Bought this a few months ago but could not figure out how to unlock the Directv remote. After I got some help, did some experimenting with it. Will do more when winter really sets in.
