Very happy except remote is temperamental

We bought this is the last month and are very happy with it. It's so much be better than the blue ray we were using to connect to Hulu and Netflix. It was tedious and didn't always work the way we wanted it to. And connecting the laptop to the tv was a pain. This is perfect for our needs. My only complaint is that the remote often does nothing, even with new batteries, and sometimes it freezes and keeps rolling thru selections. Guess I'll have to contact the company about it

I bought this so I could stream Netflix on my tv instead of having to watch my movies on the computer which is a no no for me at my age. If I cannot watch a movie on a larger screen will not enjoy it at all. I have a 42 inch tv and this Roku allows me to shut my lights off, pop popcorn, grab a beverage and pretend I am at the movie theater for only the price of my Netflix monthly charge of 8 bucks. I also use RoKu for checking out all the other movies on various places in case I really wish to see something not on Netflix. All movies are crystal clear and can be set
to cover the entire tv. I really love this. It was super easy to set up. Just make sure you have or buy the HDMI chord you need that plugs into your ROKU and into your HDMI socket. Voila. Batteries go in first, plug into your tv and the Roku walks you through the set up. I had to just give them Netfix password and each time I go
into Netflix which is daily it is all set to just find a movie and watch it. The HDMI cord is around 10 dollars for a decent one so if you order this online make sure you have that cord if you do not already have one as was not included.

I own 3 roku players. The system works great and saves me money because we fired the cable company. One thing I don't like is you have to register every channel you want, that you subscribe to, on every unit, and it's pain staking. Sometimes you can't even get it registered. For instance, National Geo, I can only get it registered on one unit... Not sure why and can't get help to solve the issue.
