I have not really taken the time to see all it has to offer. Although, I find it cumbersome and time consuming changing channels.

Love the channel varieties!

I really like having the Roku 1. Great for the television that isn't a Smart TV. The only negatives I have are that you can't turn it off and after some hours of play, it tends to freeze up. Like it 's gotten too hot (and it does get pretty hot) and it's thinking slows down.

Options - free of Comcast!

Been using Roku1 about a month now. I got one for each TV so we can watch different things. So many options I've subscribed to CBS it's reasonable and you can watch both live tv or most shows the day after they air - I really like this since I work strange hours. Also subscribed to Netflix - so many options there too but I must say I've been missing some of my old favorites and am seriously considering getting sling even when I do the cost is a fraction of cable or satellite (even with the internet cost) and my rates aren't being increased. Take a little time to play with it and you can be very happy with your viewing options.

Because of where we live, satellite services are out only option, until now. Now I just turn on my WiFi hot spot, and all the t.v. my wife and I have been missing is instantly available. Works very smoothly, as i my as I don't drop my WiFi signal.

I got the Roku 1 from Fry's for a little under $40. Nice investment. Has all the channels the other players do. May not be as fast as the 3 but gets it done as a solid device for the bedroom or secondary location, even the living room.
