So much easier to use than what we used before

We bought this a few weeks ago, and it is so neat to have so much available out of one very small instrument, and you can't beat the price.

Great product to save some money!!

This is our first streaming device. We are trying to get away from traditional cable and save us some money in the process. This was very easy to use for first time users and we are enjoying it and saving money in the process!!

where is the on off button?

there doesn't appear to be an on/off button so the player sometimes has a problem booting up.

I got this a couple months ago, and I think it is really great! Do you make one that will attach to a cable connection only? My older, second TV, does not have RCA or HDMI connectors. Just a cable connector.

I got the Roku 1 to use as a replacement for the Netflix and Youtube apps on an Xbox. It works well for what I wanted it for, although it does feel a little sluggish, and the Netflix app doesn't allow selecting of profiles(though that may be on Netflix's side). I got the Roku 1 as the TV that I have only has composite cables, otherwise I may have gone with a Roku 2 or 3(at the time, those were the available units.)

Did not come with the free 2 months of hulu or as many free channels as advertised. Have to have cable to watch anything good. So why buy it?
