We LOVE Roku!

We started using ROKU when we were posted overseas, to stream our video library. We couldn't get the US-based channels because of blocking, but being able to stream our own stuff was enough. Now that we are back in the USA, we've discovered ALL that ROKU offers. It's great, and very kind to our limited bandwidth. As we get ready to retire, we will likely use all of our ROKU units more and more. Works great with PLEX and Slingbox, too! Easy way to put TVs anywhere -- even those places without a cable connection.

I bought this at a retailer at a reasonable price and I love it. My daughter can watch all her favorite cartoons and then some, any time she wants. I love having commercial free movies at my finger tips.

I love this thing. It's the best purchase. It's cheaper then tv now a days and has just as much variety. I have two rokus my self. And that I can take it with me is great.

Great basic unit

Easy set up, so many features for a one time price there are channels that everybody in the family will in joy. Best of all most are free.so for a one time purchase, unlike cable you pay every month this is a win win,plus other models with more features for gaming plus they just added a 4k unit.can not go wrong.

My son bought the Roku for a Christmas present. I gave up cable 3 yrs ago, the Roku gives me choices for tv enjoying.

Money Saver

I am very happy with this Roku 1, as I was with the other Roku I purchased. The features are great and it allows me to watch great shows in my kitchen since I do not have cable anymore. This little box also saved me money because my tv in the kitchen does not have an hdmi input and I was about to go out and purchase another tv.
