Worth Every Penny

Excellent selection of premium content as well as a wonderful variety of free content as well! I thought it would be a waste, but no, it's absolutely great. Simple setup and we even use our computer as a media center so we can stream content to our Roku from our personal library. It has something for everyone. You need this.

Everything I wanted my Raspberry Pi to be + MORE

Once upon a time I bought a Raspberry Pi and was going to set it up as a media server... Turns out I'm just a little to lazy :( ... In comes Roku!! Out of the box I'm able to set up PLEX for my movies, PBS Videos for the kiddo, NETFLIX, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu! This has truly been a Happily Ever After!!!

Love my Roku Minus the new quick buttons

I've been a loyal roku customer since the first few months they were out. it's been great and has saved me thousands of dollars on cable subscriptions for channels I don't watch.
As my roku 1 was getting a bit old, I decided to upgrade to the new version and got the Roku 2 to interface with my old school TV.
so far I love the new one. It's a bit small but it packs a powerful punch and I do enjoy the new interface and all the selections.
The only thing I don't enjoy... and by "don't enjoy" I mean HATE HATE HATE are the new quick access buttons on the remote. While I do use netflix and amazon quite often.. I do not use nor plan to use Sling and the other button for rdio is now useless as they've gone out of business. these buttons seem like a good idea, but are prone to accidental clicking which stops what you are watching and opens up the other service. This interrupts entertainment and requires you to hunt down what you were watching.
I love my roku... but please get rid of the quick access buttons or make them programable for services I actually use or are still in business. It's not a joy joy situation to have a button being totally useless on a brand new device right out of the box!! And nothing is more frustrating than having to hunt down your show after you accidentally hit a button!

I bought this over a year ago but didn't use it for a long time, my internet wasn't good enough. Now I am watching whatever I want on tv not just what the networks offer.

Not seeing as many free channels

Most of the good channels are pay sites need more free channels. Would I recommend ? Well it OK for what it is so maybe
